Spring Ball

The time of year has come again for the OSU NROTC annual Spring Ball, which means a night of dinner, drinks, dancing, and fun for students, staff, and honored guests. The formal event, which took place May 12th, encourages good social etiquette practices for the prospective officers and also gives an introduction to the proceedings for formal military occasions. The keynote address was given by RADM Smith, who spoke to emphasize the importance of enthusiasm in daily life.

After the formalities of the evening were addressed, the lights dimmed and the music commenced in order to sway the attention to the social dance floor. Several students took part in either the dancing or the karaoke before the evening drew to an end. Occasions such as these often produce the best memories, especially when made in the company of excellent friends.
