College Program

The college program is offered to students who are currently enrolled in a university with a NROTC program.  This program pays for uniforms and fees associated with Naval Science courses. While in the program some students may be selected for advanced standing which allows them to receive a stipend to offset the cost of books and other expenditures associated with college.

Upon graduation, the individual will be commissioned as an Ensign in the Navy or a Second Lieutenant in the Marine Corps for eight years, four of which must be served on active duty.

To apply for the College Program within the NROTC program, prospective students must first fill out and send in the following two documents:

  1. College Program Application
  2. Report of Medical History.

After acceptance to the program you will also need to submit a Uniform Fitting Sheet

Male Uniform Fitting Sheet/Female Uniform Fitting Sheet.

The uniform fitting sheet will need to be filled out by a qualified seamstress or tailor. If an alteration professional cannot be found in your community, ask your local cleaners if they have someone who can help you. The uniform sheet is extremely important because your uniforms are ordered before you come to  New Student Orientation (NSO). For more information on what is required for NSO, please check out that page on our website.

Any required documents, including the College Program Application, Report of Medical History, and Uniform Fitting Sheet can be faxed, mailed, or hand-delivered to the following location:
