To be eligible for early arrival, you must be part of a pre-arranged group (such as Marching Band, ROTC, or pre-college programs) and have a 2017-18 University Housing and Dining Services (UHDS) contract and room assignment.
Students do not request early arrival from the UHDS. The NROTC program coordinator will prepare the roster for early move in and submit it to the UHDS on your behalf. Please ensure that our staff has the following information no later than Friday, August 19th.
You will be assessed a $22 per night fee for this accommodation. In early September, after group requests have been approved, students may view their updated move-in date through their myUHDS account.
If you need to arrival prior to September 11, 2017, this may be possible, but requires special arrangements with UHDS. Contact NROTC staff immediately if you need this accommodation.
Students arriving after 5 p.m. on the move-in day must check-in at their service center, and if it is after 7 p.m. with the on-duty Resident Assistant (RA) in their assigned building. The RA on-duty can be reached by calling the posted cell phone number on the hall doors.
All students arriving before or after the standard arrival day, please check in with the Service Center that works with the building you will be living in. A list of these are noted below:
