On November 15th, Beaver Battalion had its annual Fall Ball, at the Corvallis Country Club, to commemorate the Navy and Marine Corps Birthday! The Fall Ball is an opportunity for the entire Beaver Battalion to bond in an evening of traditions and a hearty dinner. Beaver Battalion witnessed multiple traditions such as the marching of the colors, cake cut of which the oldest and youngest member of the Marine Corps receive the first slice of the Marine Corps birthday cake, the ringing of the bells to signal the end and start of a new year, the honoring of the POW/MIA table, singing the service hymns, and lastly a riling speech from the guest of honor. This year's guest of honor was Rear Admiral Michael Sharp, a graduate of Oregon State University and a Submarine Officer with multiple sea tours.
Thank you to everyone who made the night unforgettable. May the joyful and hard charging nature of our members signal a secure legacy for the Beaver Battalion and a promising generation of leaders.
