2025 Spring Awards

On May 2nd, 2025, the Beaver Battalion held its prestigious Spring Awards ceremony at the Horizon Room, honoring the accomplishments of the Midshipmen, Officer Candidates (OCs), and Marine Enlisted Commissioning Education Program (MECEP) students for the 2024-2025 school year. The event brought together family, friends, and peers to celebrate the hard work, leadership, and dedication demonstrated throughout the year.

The ceremony was carried out seamlessly with the support of LT Zamora, the dedicated staff, and the leadership of Officer-in-Charge (OIC) OC Schacher. 

Over $55,000 in scholarships were awarded to outstanding individuals who exemplified a strong commitment to academic excellence and Naval Service.

The event was made possible by the unwavering support of our generous sponsors: the Benton Community Foundation, COL Michael Rainbolt (USA Ret.), LtCol Nelson Olf (USMC Ret.), the Benton Veterans Memorial Foundation, the Archie and Sue Lorentzen Education Endowment, the NROTC Alumni Association, and a number of other U.S. organizations.
