New Student Orientation is the first step for midshipmen candidates on their journey to commission as professional Navy and Marine Corps officers. NSO was conducted before the start of Fall Term, the goal being to demonstrate excellence through leadership and to introduce new members of the Naval Service to a military environment. Participants received instruction on how to succeed in the classroom, on the drill field, in physical training, and in getting settled at Oregon State in a remote and safe environment. We are excited to welcome the Class of 2024, who have become highly motivated about the Navy and Marine Corps and are excited to be a part of NROTC Oregon State. Best in the West!
