Northwest Navy is an annual competition between the NROTC units of Oregon State University, University of Idaho/Washington State, University of Washington, and University of Utah. It is held every spring and includes a variety of competition categories and teams. Units compete in Kim's Game 5k, Color Guard, Regulation Drill, Physical Readiness Training (PRT), Combat Fitness Test (CFT), Academics, Volleyball, Land Navigation, and Flag Football. This year’s event was hosted on March 2nd, at UI/WSU, at their campus in Moscow, ID.

Over 270 dedicated students braved the cold weather to test their skills against each other for bragging rights to a competition that is over six decades old. This year the University of Washington Huskies NROTC battalion won for a third year in a row, outlasting Idaho 72 points to 65. Oregon State University and the University of Utah finished third and fourth, respectively.

A special congratulations to the Oregon State PRT, PFT, and Volleyball teams for their first place finishes and to MIDN 2/C Thompson for top male in Kim’s Game 5k, OC Daughtrey for top female in Kim’s Game 5k, MIDN 4/C Lee for top female PFT, MIDN 3/C Wilkin for top male PFT, and MIDN 3/C Rosales for top female PRT.
