Midshipman Experience

We provide learning opportunities and experience to college students in support of their goal to become junior officers in the Navy and Marine Corps.

Corvallis is located in the heart of the Willamette Valley and was recently voted “The Best College Town in the PAC 12”. With an enrollment of 33,000 students, OSU is a vibrant and diverse institution of learning that is ranked the #1 Safest College Campus in the US. Our Undergraduate Engineering Program is second to none, while the College of Forestry is a world leader in research and policy.

Our unit is comprised of:

  • 70 midshipmen
  • 5 Navy and 2 Marine Corps officers
  • 2 Federal employees
  • 1 Oregon State employee
